The Ingham County Sheriff's Office says that a seven-year-old boy with autism was wandering a road without any clothes this past Sunday. They arrived on the scene to apprehend the boy and his sister who are now in state custody.
The boy was reportedly sitting naked near a train crossing. Neighbors say the boy wandered about a mile and a half to the area that he was found.
When deputies went to the home where the children lived, they say the found feces and animals living there.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office says they're pressing for fourth degree child abuse charges for the children's father. Prosecutors could announce the charges as early as Tuesday.
