Historians and car lovers alike are celebrating the start of a Lansing legend this week, the REO Motor Car Company.
One hundred years ago Ransom Eli Olds began building his motor vehicle vision after leaving a company he helped found, Olds Motor Works. All week long events are planned to honor Olds and the vehicles he made.
The celebration began Tuesday night on the Capitol lawn. REO owners brought cars and trucks to show off as part of the Capitol's 125th anniversary.
