Starting Friday, downtown Jackson will be over-run with racing go-carts, food, rides, and music. The annual American One Grand Prix and Summerfest starts Friday and runs through Saturday.
There's also a teen music contest, and live bands will perform on Friday and Saturday nights. Admission is free because there are several local sponsors. It's the largest fundraiser for Junior Achievement of the Michigan Edge, Inc.
