A Saturday afternoon fire has robbed Holt local children of a place to place this summer.

Delhi Township firefighters received a call of smoke at Elliott Elementary School, and on arrival found flames 20 feet high on the playground.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office is now investigating possible suspects in what they're labeling an arson investigation at the school.

Elliott Elementary School's playground received about $40,000 worth of damage.

A tip led deputies to question two male juveniles, but the sheriff's office is seeking additional witnesses in the case.

Holt Public Schools are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fire.
