Mark Gardner of Lansing was arraigned on two felony charges related to the solicitation of a 13-year old girl. Police say Gardner used Internet chat rooms to carry out the alleged crime.
Authorities say the 29-year old man planned to meet the teen at a fast food restaurant in Lansing's south side, but instead found four officers there when he showed up.
He was arrested without incident.
The felony counts could carry up to eight years in prison.
