A Webberville man convicted of attacking a coach and two spectators earlier this year at one of his daughter's volleyball games was sentenced yesterday to 93 days in jail.
Forty-two-year old Joseph Kusmierz was charged with four counts of misdemeanor assault and battery for the incident that took place in January.
He had been found guilty on three of the four counts in May in a Livingston County district court.
Kusmierz was found not guilty of a fourth count, assaulting the game's referee.
Police say Kusmierz had become upset with a penalty call during a junior varsity volleyball match held at Hartland High School between Fowlerville and Okemos.
Kusmierz says he plans to appeal. He has until Monday to do that or report to the county jail.
During his 18-month probation, Kusmierz is not allowed to attend high school, college or professional sporting events.
