Police: Robbery Suspect Killed By Drunk Driver
Police say a suspected robber who fled after being shot by his potential victim was killed when he was hit by a drunken driver in Detroit.

Police say a suspected robber who fled after being shot by his potential victim was killed when he was struck by a drunken driver in Detroit.
Authorities say the suspect tried to rob a man about 1:30 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of a bar on the city's west side.
Spokeswoman Eren Stephens tells the Detroit Free Press the robbery victim who holds a concealed weapon license, shot and wounded the suspect. The suspect then ran away, but was struck by a car being driven by a 20-year-old woman from Farmington Hills.
An autopsy is pending. No further details were released.
