Gas Prices Drop

AAA Michigan says average statewide prices are down more than four cents a gallon from last week. A gallon of self-serve regular is averaging about $1.42.

Prices this week are about 35 cents cheaper than the same time last year.

The auto club's weekly "Fuel Gauge" surveys 300 gas station around Michigan.
