Fire Officials say the Waverly School district may not begin classes until additional precautions are made to secure the safety of students.
Waverly is hoping to work with fire officials to open its schools as early as Aug. 29.
Fire authorities sight ceiling problems, wiring and fire alarms as the reasons for the violations.
Waverly plans to give updates on its situation on Thursday.
