The Lansing Mayor is out of the running for the second spot on the democratic ticket with Jennifer Granholm.
Lansing Mayor David Hollister said he is not disappointed that he was not selected for the Lt. Governor spot on the statewide democratic ticket. Jennifer Granholm, the candidate for governor, has notified Hollister that she is picking someone else.
That someone else is Flint democratic State Senator John Cherry, who is currently the minority leader in the state senate.
Hollister said he believes he could have added something to the ticket had be been selected, but he also said that the Cherry selection is "a good choice."
Hollister said he will do everything he can to get Granholm elected.
