The day after Christmas is like black Friday for the early risers who are up trying to snag the good deals.

The sales, clearance and doorbusters; there's a reason people hit the malls the day after Christmas.
"I think that's the best time to go shopping, either Black Friday or the day after Christmas," said Kumuel Harrington who was shopping for his young children.
J.C Penny opened at 5 a.m. and soon thereafter Taryn Hull was there with her family.
"We left the house at 5:30; Kohl's at 6; mall by 7. We've been in J.C. Penny and doing a lot of returns throughout the family," said Hull.
The lines were full of returns and new purchases.
"Usually the day after Christams it's just a tradition," said Nancy Schrauben. "My daughters and I get up real early and bring back all the goodies they don't want or didn't fit and come and get all the good deals."
The malls weren't exactly packed this year but there are still some who are keeping up with tradition looking for those after Christmas sales.
"It's really surprising to me this year. Last year I was here and I couldn't walk. There's been multiple years I've came and it's ridiculous standing in line," said Hull. "This year we're walking right up, getting what we need, getting out and getting on with the day."
Some shops were busier than others. The calendar kiosk had a stead flow of traffic.
"We had lines people have been coming in since 7 o'clock in the morning to catch the 50 percent discount on the calendars so it's been very busy," said sales associate Rosalyn Jones.
The mall was full of deals for shoppers and those early risers definitely took advantage.
