Memorial Holiday Celebrations

* Bath - Monday starting at 10am at the Main St. Cemetary there will be a short Memorial Day service.

* Charlotte - Saturday from 2 to 6pm World War II veterans will be honored at VFW Post 2406 as a part of the national dedication ceremony for the newly created memorial in Washington D.C.

*Dansville - Monday parade at Noon at the school.

*Eaton Rapids - Monday 11am parade on Main St. and end at Knight St.

*Grand Ledge - Saturday 10:30am annual Wacousta Memorial Day Parade at Wacousta Elementary.

*Holt - Monday parade at 2pm starting at Holt Junior High School.

*Lansing - Saturday parade 10am on North Grand Ave between Saginaw and Shiawassee Streets.

*Leslie - Monday parade at 10am from White Pine Academy to Woodlawn Cemetary. Annual American Legion chicken barbecue begins at 11:30am at the end of Woodworth St.

*Mason - Monday 9am Placing of wreaths and reading of names of people who died during war at the courthouse square. Parade begins at 11am.

*Perry - Saturday 11am parade begins from the high school to West First St.

*Potterville - Monday 10am-Noon Parade at Potterville High School.

*St. Johns - Sunday parade at 2pm from the Clinton County Courthouse to Mt. Rest Cemetary.

*Williamston - Monday parade 10am at Williamston Community Center.
