Basement flooding continues to be a problem for homeowners. The Ingham County Health Department says to avoid flushing your toilet if the basement is flooded and don't bring your children into the home during cleanup.
Health officials also say to discard all food which was in contact with flood water.
Crews say they have been so swamped that they are calling in extra equipment from other states.
