A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a picture of an MSU garden can be worth $500.
The University is sponsoring a photography contest for both amateur and professional photographers. All pictures must be taken at MSU's horticulture demonstration gardens.
There is a $25 entry fee, but the winner will be awarded $500.
