Families all across America are celebrating Mother's Day, and for thousands here in mid-Michigan, it's an extra special day. That's because they overcame infertility with the help of modern medicine. Sunday afternoon, two infertility specialists held a Mother's Day celebration to honor the families they've helped.

Dr. Farrah Fahimi and Dr. Mohammad Mohsenian have been holding the event for the last ten years. In the twenty years since they started their practice, they've helped bring close to 3,000 babies into the world. They say the Mother's day event is their way of celebrating the births of all the babies and also a way to spread hope to couples who may be having trouble conceiving.

Wendy York is one of the women treated by Dr. Fahimi. York says she and her husband never thought they would be able to have a child, and now they have two. About 300 moms, dads, and babies attended Sunday's event.
