750 New Manufacturing Jobs for Lansing

Lansing's Demmer Corporation is looking to fill 750 positions. Capital Area Michigan Works! and Lansing Community College is hosting a hiring fair Friday to help them.
Demmer Corporation makes parts for the automotive, defense, aerospace and commercial industries. The company is expanding thanks to two military contracts. These are new jobs, everything ranging from clerical to manufacturing. How much they pay is not being announced, some training may be required and will be available.
The hiring fair will be held at M-TEC on Lansing Community College's West Campus Friday, May 11 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Job seekers should bring a resume, dress for a job interview and be prepared to fill out an application and be interviewed on the spot.
Those unable to attend the hiring fair can visit Capital Area Michigan Works! Lansing Service Center.
