EAST LANSING - Police are now releasing the identity of the MSU student who died over the weekend at a fraternity house. 22-year-old Brian Charles McMillen, of Adrian, Michigan, was found dead in his room at the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity house early Saturday morning.
An autopsy was performed this weekend. East Lansing Police say they will have to wait up to 8 weeks for toxicology reports to come back before they can determine a cause of death. Police say that there were no signs of foul play, and the death is not suspicious.
Police tell us that housemates told investigators that McMillen had been drinking earlier in the day. Police are now not speculating as to whether that contributed to his death. Detectives continue to investigate.
