Online Threats Close Michigan Community College

Threats posted on an online blog worried Kalamazoo Valley Community College officials enough today that they shut down the campus for the rest of the week.

Police say the first message, posted yesterday, praises the Virginia Tech shooting massacre. A second message posted earlier this morning suggests the government kills people each day.

In a statement, a college spokesman says state police notified the school about a specific threat to the campus and that the college is working with authorities.

Kalamazoo County sheriff's Lieutenant Terry VanStreain says police believe a male suspect held in custody is responsible for writing the messages.

I think that it is ridiculous that people would make threats about something so serious. They're just messing with people now.

See now becuase 32 people were killed they will start doing something about street people comeing into the schools... if you have to pat down every1!.. its messed up how they let the guy that stalked to girls in 2005 and knew he wsa getting help back in the school.. dont get me wrong i feel bad for the friends and family's and for the people that got shot.. but there was like 2 and a half hours between the dorm shooting and killing and then the classroom shooting. If all the schools and colleges need to get more help get cops in the schools to help out.. but my prayers do go out to every1!!!
