Battle Creek kicks off annual Festival of Lights this weekend with a holiday parade.

The annual International Festival of Lights kicks off this weekend with the Battle Creek Holiday Parade.
The parade takes place Saturday and the downtown festival runs through Dec. 31. Other highlights of the event include International Children's Day on Dec. 12 and Ice Sculpting Saturday on Dec. 19.
The parade marks the debut of Battle Creek's large lights display that shines nightly during the holidays.
