Teen Dies From Gun Shot

A 14-year-old Livingston County Boy is dead, after being shot with a gun. Police say he found the weapon in his home.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department said the boy was with a friend in Iosco Township, near Fowlerville, when they found a gun in the garage Saturday evening.

The boy was airlifted to the University of Michigan hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The sheriff's department is still investigating the shooting.

the boy who was shot ands killed on saturday was one of my best friends. his name was timmy holmes. i am going to miss him and so will the football team he played on. it is not going to be th same anymore without him. we went to his mother and fathers house yesterday to give our love to her an there whole family. i was petrified to see his little sister like this. his mom started to breakdown crying. i got through it witout crying. how i did it? i dont know. it was harsh over there. our class wrote a whole bunch of letters and his mom said " i dont even know half these people." in a good way not a bad. after today i dont know what will happen to there family. but i will make sure whenever they need me i will be there for them.

Timmy was great he was a really good person to every one and he did not deserve to die and Nick the kid who shot him was his best friend and he should not go to juvie or jail for it. Timmy and Nick were both at my lunch and they had alot of friends and I guess that they were sort of my friends and me and Dannille Donet and I always talked to them and stuff. Its just very devistating to see something like that happen. Timmy was a great friend and very funny. I guess that nick is just glad to be alive.R.I.P Timmy we will miss you!
