Lets try somthing novel, why don't people do their jobs when they are on our payroll. Go to the Y on their own time, only with government jobs can you play all day and still get paid.
How about if Mike Cox buys a couple of jump ropes and uses his office as a gym since nothing else seems to be getting done there.
they could jog around the block during their lunch hour !
Strange response. Apparently among those laid off were investigators the very people the gym is to benefit. Also, in time of lean budgets, a gym is an extravagance and cannot be justified by the flimsy claim espoused by Cox's flak.
Ask Mark Brewer how many officers you can hire for $50,000. This shouldn't even be an issue when private funds are being used.
this is a stupid unimportant story, stop wasting news time with worthless things like this
You have got to be kidding me...these people get paid good salaries and we should NOT have to pay for their gyms! We have a deficit...it's this "me first" Republican way of thinking that got us into this problem with the economy in the first place.
