In the first, 106,000 Mazda Tributes are being recalled. The National Highway Safety Administration says the SUVs could stall without warning. The model years affected range between 2001 and 2003.
General Motors is also recalling up to 330,000 SUVs. The automaker says the seat belts in some 2001 to 2002 Chevy Trailblazers, GMC Envoys, and Oldsmobile Bravadas do not meet federal safety standards.
