Owosso Flu Clinic
With the swine flu vaccine in limited supply but high demand, it makes it very hard to find a clinic. Reporter: Meaghan NormanEmail Address: Meaghan.Norman@wilx.com |

Owosso High School came prepared.
More than 600 people came through the flu clinic on Saturday. Many, like Lori Donlan of Flushing has been trying relentlessly to vaccinate her five year old daughter Chloe.
"I've called about five pediatricians trying to get her in because I'm so worried about it as a mom," said Donlan.
The swine flu scare has affected Donlan. She says she's constantly checking her daughter's forehead for a fever and takes all precautions to make sure she is staying healthy.
"I have kept [Chloe] home and I limit her exposure to other kids," said Donlan. "Swine is different to me because it affects healthy children. ... This could be a situation of life or death."
The priority group now to be vaccinated is those between six months and four years old; pregnant women, health care workers, and those 4 - 18 years of age with a health condition.
The health department may open up the priority to a wider range of people next week.
