The horse-ignorant media has been taking the horse-ignorant public for a ride. Jackson County Animal Control had these horses for six months, failed to properly feed them, failed to give them proper hoof care, failed to even give them routine dewormer. Horses with wrong information on their papers, with dangerous parasite loads confirmed by vet fecal exams, were sold for as little as $100 each, some to known "meat buyers" in Napoleon last month. How is that RESCUE? JCAC is a joke and should never have touched these horses.
WOW, how can anyone defend these men in anyway! theirs no excuse for even 1 horse to be treated/look this way!!! Pam I'm with you! This makes me sick to hear what these men did!
Some articles claim that 69 horses were "badly malnourished" but the video only shows 2-3 in poor weight and a bunch of healthy horses ... what's up?
I'm confused. I know for a fact that the horse pictured in the neglect article is not one of the horses at the ranch in question. I am not on one side or the other, just confused as to why misinform the public.
I can't believe that all they will get for this atrocity is 93 days in jail! I hope they serve their time without food or water!
i think that he was not neglecting them just has to much
