Shooting In Jackson
An 18-year-old was shot in the shoulder in Rives Township early Friday morning.

An 18-year-old Jackson man is in the hospital after being shot in the shoulder.
It happened Friday around 2:30a.m. on the 1300 block of Grove Ave. in Rives Township.
Jackson County sheriff's deputies say the victim left a friend's house, and when he returned, he had been shot.
The victim was taken to Allegiance Hospital and later transported to University of Michigan hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating.
