Consumers Energy customers in the Charlotte area will be without power for approximately 90 minutes while crews do repair work to a substation in the area. The work is scheduled to begin Saturday morning at around 6:00 a.m.

The interruption will also affect a small portion of the southeast corner of the City of Charlotte and an area south of Charlotte bordered by:
Downtown Charlotte and the Village of Bellevue should not be affected by this interruption.
