Jackson Police are looking for a gunman who shot someone in the leg earlier this morning.

It happened around 5a.m. on the 300 Block of West Mason Street.
Police say the gunman fled when they arrived.

The suspect is a thin black male, approximately 5'10" tall.

He was wearing black jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt, with white trim around the hood.

The victim's injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
