Kade Sauve, 12, and his 16-year-old brother Devin are the victims. Devin was driving the car to school Monday morning, Kade was in the passenger seat. They were less than three miles from the schools they were going to.
Friends of the Sauve brothers say the two loved to wrestle. Devin was crowned Homecoming King this year. Within hours of the crash their friends were online posting messages, on the popular social networking site MySpace.
Devin was a sophomore at Stockbridge High School. Kade was in the sixth grade at Stockbridge Middle School. They were the younger two of three sons in their family. They lived with their father.
Michigan State Police investigators tell News 10 their car went out of control at about 7:20AM on M-52 between Milner and Dexter Trail. The car crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming car.
Weather and road conditions may have been a factor. The driver of the other car has been taken to University of Michigan Hospital with serious injuries.
