Pitbulls Attack Horse & Goat
Two pitbulls are caught and caged by Jackson County Animal control after attacking a goat and a horse in Grass Lake Township.

GRASS LAKE TWP. -- Animal control officers with the The Jackson County Sheriff's Office have had to lock up a couple of pitbulls, after an attack on a goat and a horse. On Wednesday morning Michigan State Troopers sent to the 4700 Block of List Road in Grass Lake Township for a report of two vicious pitbulls. The dogs had attacked a goat and a horse there. The horse had a large laceration to its chest, and the goat was so badly injured it had to be put down. The dogs were not located.
On Friday, Jackson County Animal Control Officers, Waterloo Township Police and the Michigan State Police responded back to the area. The two pitbull dogs were located in the 9500 block of Glenn Road, where the two dogs were taken into custody.
The dogs are being held for quarantine and potential charges are being sought against the owner of the dogs by the Michigan State Police.
