Clinton County and Tri-County Metro officials seized an estimated 1,000 pounds of marijuana from the tenant living on Howe Rd. in DeWitt.
Police say the pot has an estimated street value of $100,000 totaling about 1,000 marijuana plants.
Authorities would not disclose the name of the person responsible for the pot growing, but said the individual was linked to two other farms in Calhoun and Ionia counties.
Police say Michigan penalties could land the cannabis cultivator behind bars for 14 years. Due to the size and magnitude, however, federal penalties could be enforced.
