Massachusetts Senator John Kerry ran way with Michigan's Democratic Party presidential contest.
With most of the votes counted, Kerry had 50-percent. Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean took 17-percent, while Senator John Edwards received 14-percent. Retired General Wesley Clark had seven-percent.
Michigan wasn't Kerry's only Saturday victory. He won a crushing victory in Washington, also.
Howard Dean, the fallen front-runner, had his best showing of the campaign season. He finished second in Washington with 30 percent of the vote and was runner-up in Michigan.
