Gov. Jennifer Granholm Claims the Michigan Democratic Presidential Caucus is Not a Dud

Gen. Wesley Clark and U.S. Sen. John Edwards may skip the Michigan democratic presidential caucuses and Gov. Jennifer Granholm, who supports John Kerry. They do that at their only peril.

State party leaders were hoping the Michigan race would generate lots of nation interest, but with U.S. Sen. John Kerry apparently running away for the bulk of the state's 158 convention delegates, the contest has taken a back seat to the one in Wisconsin later this month.

"It is not a dud. It's a flood," contends the governor who voted for Kerry on the Internet along with her husband Dan Mulhern on Thursday at a downtown Lansing library.
