There’s a new scam making its way across the Internet and it involves a popular brand of birth control.
Federal authorities say an overseas Internet site is shipping counterfeit versions of the birth control patch "Ortho Evra." The patch is manufactured by Johnson's & Johnson's. The FDA says these fake versions do not provide any protection against pregnancy.
Authorities say do not use these patches or any other drugs ordered from the Web site rxpharmacy.ws.
