A watermain break beneath Grand River Avenue in east Lansing will disrupt traffic for a couple of days.
The break was discovered Wednesday morning. East Lansing Public Works officials say they were repairing a "minor water problem," but it soon became a bigger issue because of its location under Grand River Avenue.
Crews dug a sic foot deep hole in the street to find the leak. The repair took about seven hours.
Crews are now working to repair the hole in Grand River.
