Ruling Expected in Cole Trial

In Jackson County, a judge is expected to hand down a ruling regarding Angela Cole. Her body was found in the Grand River back in March of 2002. Her estranged husband Chester Cole and his sister Ellen Rose are charged with her death.

Police say the two suspects took Angela to the river and held her underwater. Autopsy reports show the victim had both alcohol and cocaine in her system at the time of her death. A judge will decide today if Chester Cole killed her or if she died fighting the river current.
