State Okays Pipeline Through Lansing

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has issued a permit for the Wolverine gasoline transmission pipeline proposed through Lansing.

The Board of Water and Light has already signed off on the proposal.

Now the only thing standing in the way of the pipeline is the Lansing City Council. Just last Monday, council refused to okay the pipeline through the city.

Wolverine has not said what it plans to do.
