General Motors sales figures are out and they show calendar year car sales took a dip in 2003 compared to the previous year.
GM sales are down two-percent from last year and December sales in 2003 are down nine-percent from record levels in December of 2002.
But Lansing-built cars saw increases in sales. The Cadillac CTS continues to impress with a 30-percent jump in sales from last year. Both the Chevy Alero and Pontiac Grand Am made modest gains.
GM officials say they hope a "Hot Button" promotion giving customers at dealerships a chance to win a vehicle will start 2004 off on the right foot.
