While many here in Mid-Michigan are taking a break from all of the hustle and bustle others are basking in the glow of their holiday decorations, spending the night celebrating the reason for the season.
The Pyrgoski's are doing just that. Every year the family goes all out decorating so others can enjoy it. This year is no different with 92 strands of lights, 2,300 bulbs and 16 thousand watts of power.
The basketball hoop was the first to be adorned 10 years ago when the family started decorating, but now since Matt, a high school senior, and Jeff, a freshman, took over the task five years ago the outdoor decor has flourished.
Most of the decorations are bought at local retail stores and if they can't find what they need they just make it.
