A 72-year-old woman is still sorting things out after being mugged Sunday evening just outside her daughter's home on Lansing's southside. It happened around 7:30 p.m. just hours after a separate mugging, in the same area at a local grocery store, was reported.
Police say they believe the muggings were done by the same person, a man who may have been waiting and looking for an easy target.
No one was hurt in either mugging, but credit cards, cash and irreplaceable personal items were stolen.
