An early morning standoff with police in Delta Township ends peacefully.
Eaton County Sheriff Rick Jones says a 45-year-old man barricaded himself in a home on Harvest Lane with a rifle after a domestic divorce dispute with his wife, she escaped unharmed.
The 2 and a half hour standoff ended whent he man surrendered. The sheriff also says he was taken into custody and sent to Community Mental Health.
Waverly Schools were alerted of the situation and buses were rerouted as a precautionary measure.
