General Motors' Grand River Assembly Plant in Lansing is celebrating a milestone on Friday. The plant has produced 25,000 models of the Cadillac CTS.

GM officials say the CTS is generating world-class levels of customer enthusiasm. The car has risen to the top of GM's bestseller list in only six months.

Officials say the car is performing better than expected in the marketplace. They were expecting to sell 30,000 models, but are on pace to sell more than 40,000.

According to a survey conducted by the corporation, 90 percent of customers say they are completely satisfied with the Cadillac CTS.
