Firefighters Win Blood Battle

Lansing firefighters claim victory in the second annual "Battle for Blood."

The firefighters were given a trophy for collecting more blood than Lansing police officers.

The firefighters collected 560 pints of blood for the American Red Cross. Lansing police brought in 504 pints.

Collectively, thye managed to exceed their goal of 1000 units in six days.
