Forty-two-year-old Mary Joetta Wendland will spend up to six months in jail for helping a 19-year-old boy commit suicide.

Wendland pled guilty in Clinton County to charges from the April 9 death of 19-year-old Patrick Holey. Wendland admitted giving anti-nausea drugs and sedatives to Holey and his wife, Jennifer, to help them keep down an overdose of drugs supplied by Holey's mother.

Holey died. Jennifer survived the suicide pact.

The two took the drugs after they were accused of raping a 14-year-old girl at their home a few days earlier.
