General Motors and UAW Local 1618 say they’ve reached a tentative work agreement. The agreement would cover about 400 employees.
Brian Fredline, President of Local 1618, says the union could ratify the deal November 24th.
General motors is pleased with the deal and is looking forward to the final vote in November.
There are still two major UAW unions without tentative deals – Local 602 and Local 1753.
The proposed contract would be good for three years.
