State workers have taken it long enough. It's not up to us to balance the budget from wages and/or benefits. Just so you all know we pay $50.00 copay for each prescription, $300 deductible and a copay, and we have to pay a premium as well. We have given up raises, no cost of living and our costs keep escalating as well. Everything keeps going up for us to include raising kids, gas, utilities but yet some in the public want us to go backwards. Is there something wrong with this picture? YES, raise taxes across the board so everyone pays NOT JUST THE STATE WORKERS!

Who does Jenny think she is kidding nothing will come of this like the last time she went overseas. She just wanted a vacation and this way she can make the tax payors pay for it cause she claims she is trying to bring jobs to Michigan. Ha Ha Ha this will not happen she is a joke.

Why is Jennifer Granholm making all these trips? To pickup these companies that are going to hire about 200-300 people? At that rate Michigan should be back on its feet by 2030! That's her best plan for the future? She should be back in her office looks at ways to cut cost! And I'm sorry too say cut state workers and state retirees benefits just like the auto companies. The best I can see for green jobs for Michigan is about 3% of employment, right now Michigan has 15% jobless rate and I bet the number is higher than that, the 3% green jobs is the peak. I guess people just do the best they can, we need a super hero!

Why do we need incentives for companies to come here? If the taxes were low enough, they would not need the incentives.
