New information on an accident Saturday night in I-96 in Ingham County.
Officials tell News 10 a man from South Lyon was driving on the eastbound side of the highway when he swerved to avoid an animal and rolled several times.
The passenger, Karla Johnson from Pinkney, was ejected from the car and died on the scene.
The freeway was shut down for a nearly 6 mile stretch because of that crash.
