A third case of whooping cough at East Lansing High School is confirmed.
The Ingham County Health Department says a 9th grade female student is being heavily treated with antibiotics.
Hundreds of students received a booster shot at school this week after two freshmen were diagnosed with whooping cough.
The health department will likely be offering one more vaccination clinic next week.
Doctors in the department do not expect any more students to come down with the disease.
The school is sending a letter to parents today. It will also be holding an informational meeting for parents on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
