An accident this morning sends three people to the hospital after a chain reaction crash involving a deer in Grass Lake.
The accident happened near Mount Hope Road. Deputies say 58-year-old Charles Lee from Kansas City was headed to Missouri in his 1999 Toyota Camry with three others. The vehicle struck a deer, then a guard rail in the median and then hit a semi tractor trailer on the west bound side.
Law enforcement officials say the semi truck driver was not injured. Traffic on I-94 Westbound was diverted for about 45-minutes. Officials say alcohol was not a factor and all were wearing their seat belts.
