The number of people here in Michigan flying to their Thanksgiving destination is expected to be up by about 4% this year.

At Lansing's Capital City Airport, airlines are at capacity, according to an airport spokesperson.

Travelers are being put to the test during the first big rush since carry-on restrictions were put in place last August. You are allowed to bring, on board, as many three ounces or less, containers, which can fit into one, one-quart plastic, zip-top bag.

Wednesday and Sunday are expected to be the two busiest Thanksgiving travel days.
