Just in time for the holidays, high schoolers clean up a downtown area by getting their hands dirty.

Students from New Covenant Christian School in Lansing helped out in Mason Wednesday.

The ninth through twelfth graders worked with the Department of Public Works by picking up trash, washing City Hall windows, sweeping gutter pans and hanging holiday lights.

The school does a cleanup every year, the day before Thanksgiving.
